Reducing spam by icon generator?
October 1, 2005These are the two websites for generating email icons. So instead of publishing superman@hotmail.com or superman@gmail.com, your email address will be displayed on an image (so it’s not clickable and spam robots won’t be able to get your email address).

Well, some people might say that these websites will sell your email to unknown 3rd party….to be honest, I’m not sure (even if they have a privacy policy, but who knows right?). If that’s the case, I guess the safest way to protect your email is to just type it as superman[AT]godzilla[DOT]com if you’re going to publish it on the internet.

Yes, I’ve been trying to use that whenever possible….afraid that spam-bots might be able to fish my email address if it’s written in the proper form…
